Description

In 1997, she was the opening act for Cedric the entertainer, and went on to open shows for various entertainers including, Comedian Light foot, Twister, 2 Live Crew, and Pastor Shirley Caesar. She performed on statewide, and local tours, performed every weekend in local clubs throughout Atlanta, but her singing career didn’t take off as planned. After almost 10 years of pursuing a record deal, she then took a break from the music industry to start a family. After 2 children, and a divorce, she reappear on the scene after being pushed by her cousin, “Dreal” a popular local Brevard county rapper who’s career was already thriving, and on the rise to “get back to the music”. She took back off, and it seemed like she was ready once again, but once again, her motivation went cold.  She never stayed  long enough on the scene to create a buzz for her music. In, 2012, 2 years after her divorce, and after the birth of her daughters, she took to social media with a clip of music, she used ‘SoundCloud, ReverbNation, and Facebook’ to put her music online and released small video clips on ‘Instagram.’, but still no projects would come of it. She would disappear once again from the music scene. Slowly, in 2015, 7 years later, she popped up once more, and begin to get noticed by new listeners, and followers who encouraged her to dedicate herself to her talent, which sparked the hashtag #gettingbacktothemusic the support worked and she was once again back in the studio working on her first single since her 7 year hiatus, after meeting a young, and gifted singer, songwriter, and producer that goes by the name True Harmony upon being introduced to him by another local artist Bozaq TBG who’s also recording out of the same studio. After hearing her sing, True Harmony then offered her a track he’d produced, and asked her if she could write anything to it. That track was later entitled, “Learn”, which follows various tracks written as far back as 2001. Her debut EP, “Lessons” is set to release on January 25, 2020, under her own label, MRR Reccords. ‘Learn, Crazy and Karma’ are all the rave on her upcoming album, and are expected to become a major hit and hope to peak a spot on the ‘Billboard Hot 100’ chart. In 2020, she anticipates even being nominated for best new artist, or single award. This will help her boost her career in the music industry, setting a record of the first indie artist to make a comeback without any industry related notoriety . Ms.  Ross, announced that she was already  working on her second debut album and it could be released as early as October 2020.

Lyrics
ooh ooh, yeah oohhh ooohh
You had a girl, you got a girl
wasn’t the problem cause what
you had what you got had nothing
to do with me I let it go cause what
i want i couldn’t have it but if you
played your cards and shared your
heart you could’ve had her and me
ooh ooh it’s complicated what’s
understood don’t need explaining
but you will respect me oooh oooh
cause if you happy at home and she’s
the one you wouldn’t be messing
around with me
Chorus
When will i learn when will i
learn will i ever learn
don’t fall in love don’t give my
heart to a man that don’t love me
When will i learn when will i
learn will i ever learn
that a man will fight for what he
wants if what he wanted was me
You chose her and not me wasn’t
the problem it’s that you want my
love gotta have my love but don’t
know how to treat me you want my love
you gotta earn the right to have
it we can’t be making love you not
gone take my love and treat her
better than me
ooh ooh ooh cause you be acting like
our love aint right because you trying
to do the right thing you are my love
you don’t deserve my love but i want
your love and imma give it to you anyway
let it go walk away forget about me i’ll
be okay if ya not gone love me you know
you don’t want me don’t call me don’t text
me leave me alone heey
I, I love you baby
Chorus
When will i learn when will i
learn will i ever learn
don’t fall in love don’t give my
heart to a man that don’t love me
When will i learn when will i
learn will i ever learn
that a man will fight for what he
wants if what he wanted was me
