The Silver Spoon Foundation
Mission
To provide all minorities of all ethnics, races, and backgrounds, especially working, motivated and struggling single parents, and families who need us most, first and second chances to obtain the help they need to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible civilized citizens.
Vision
Provide the emotional, financial support, and assistance that minorities need to ensure self-sufficiency without dependency of government. A “silver spoon” assures success is within reach of every person who reaches out to our foundation, with all participants on track to achieving independence with a plan to secure their financial future, developing work ethic, good character, citizenship, and a good living.
History
The Silver Spoon Foundation was founded in 2017 by a single mother in Pembroke Pines, Florida – Doris M. Ross (Ms. Ross) . Believing that anyone willing to help themselves by turning their negatives into positives, and taking their loses as lessons should be given a chance, and an outlet to do so by being provided the “silver spoon” they were less fortunate to have been given. She organized, and founded the foundation. With a government boycott as the construction of the foundation, the foundation focused on obtaining alternatives to low-income families assistance. It specifically focuses on improving social behavior and increasing goals, and personal expectations, and support to achieving those goals.
